WARRANTY POLICY
United States – Governed by Texas Law
At Blue Prism Automotive, all engines, transmissions, and automotive components are sold used unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing. Because these parts are pre-owned, normal wear, age-related conditions, and cosmetic imperfections should be expected.
By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to the terms outlined below.

DELIVERY & INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT
Warranty coverage begins on the confirmed delivery date as shown by the shipping carrier.
All engines and transmissions must be installed within ten (10) calendar days of confirmed delivery unless prior written approval is provided by Blue Prism Automotive.
Failure to install within this timeframe without written authorization may void warranty eligibility.
Customers must inspect all parts immediately upon delivery. Any visible shipping damage must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours with clear photographs of the item and packaging.
Installation constitutes acceptance of the physical condition of the unit.

30-DAY LIMITED PARTS REPLACEMENT WARRANTY
Blue Prism Automotive provides a thirty (30) day limited parts-replacement-only warranty on used engines and transmissions.
This warranty applies solely to catastrophic internal mechanical failure that renders the engine or transmission inoperable.
This is a parts-only warranty.
Labor, diagnostic fees, towing, rental vehicles, downtime, incidental damages, consequential damages, and business losses are not covered under any circumstances.
Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser listed on the invoice and is non-transferable.
Seller liability is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the part.

WHAT IS COVERED
For engines sold as long blocks, coverage applies only to:
• Engine block
• Cylinder heads
• Crankshaft
• Connecting rods
• Pistons
For transmissions, coverage applies only to internal mechanical gear engagement failure.
Coverage applies only when the component becomes inoperable due to internal mechanical defect under normal operating conditions.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED
The following are not covered under warranty:
• Normal wear and tear
• Engine noise, ticking, or lifter noise
• Oil consumption
• Sludge buildup
• Minor oil leaks
• Gaskets and seals
• Timing belts, timing chains, guides, tensioners
• Camshaft or valvetrain wear
• Turbos
• Intake or exhaust components
• Sensors or electrical components
• Fuel system contamination
• Overheating damage
• Oil starvation
• Improper installation
• Incorrect fluids
• Pre-existing vehicle conditions
• Unauthorized internal disassembly
Noise alone does not qualify as mechanical failure.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
Installation must be performed by a licensed repair facility.
The following are mandatory to maintain warranty eligibility:
• New oil and filter installed before startup
• Cooling system flushed and verified operational
• Manufacturer-recommended fluids used
• Timing components, seals, and related service items inspected and replaced as needed
Customers must retain and provide upon request:
• Installation invoice
• Shop contact information
• VIN number
• Vehicle mileage at installation
• Receipts for service parts
Failure to provide required documentation may void warranty coverage.

RETURN & INSPECTION REQUIREMENT
No warranty replacement or refund will be issued prior to physical return and inspection of the unit.
The customer must make the unit available for return within Three (3) business days of authorization unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All returned units must be:
• Properly drained of fluids
• Securely palletized
• Returned in the same condition as delivered
• Free from unauthorized internal component substitution
Warranty determination will be made only after inspection confirms eligibility under the terms of this policy.

NO REFUND-FIRST POLICY
Refund-first demands are not part of seller policy.
Opening a PayPal dispute, credit card chargeback, or payment claim does not eliminate the customer’s obligation to comply with the return and inspection process outlined above.
Return and inspection must occur before any warranty determination is made.

EXTENDED WARRANTY
Extended warranty options may be available at the time of purchase. Extended coverage must be purchased at the time of sale and requires full compliance with all installation and documentation requirements. Mileage limitations may apply depending on the selected plan.

This Warranty Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.

OUR SHIPPING POLICY
At Blue Prism Automotive, we are committed to providing accurate and reliable shipping information for all our customers. Please review the following shipping terms carefully before placing your order.
Shipping Methods and Delivery Timeframes

Freight Shipping for Oversized Items (e.g., Engines and Transmissions):​

The freight carrier will schedule a delivery appointment. Missed appointments may result in redelivery fees.

Freight shipments require a loading dock or lift-gate service. Additional fees may apply if these are unavailable.

Shipping Charges:

Calculated based on the product’s size, weight, destination, and selected shipping method. Final costs are displayed during checkout.

Oversized or Freight Items: Additional shipping fees may apply and will be communicated before order confirmation.

Free shipping may be offered on select products, as indicated on the product page. This applies to standard delivery within the contiguous USA only.

Order Tracking : A tracking number will be provided via email once your order has shipped. You can use this to monitor the status and location of your shipment. Customers must inspect shipments upon receipt and report any damage within 48 hours of delivery.

Lost Shipments:

Notify us of lost packages within 7 business days of the expected delivery date. We will work with the carrier to locate the package or provide a resolution.

International Shipping : At this time, Blue Prism Automotive only ships within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. We do not offer international shipping.

Important Notes

Delivery Confirmation: All shipments require a signature upon delivery for high-value items, including engines and transmissions.

Product images shown are for reference only. The actual used parts shipped will match the listed specifications but may vary in appearance due to warehouse inventory, prior use, or removed components. All engines are tested and verified to meet the described fitment and mechanical standards.

Weekend/Holiday Deliveries: Shipping carriers operate Monday through Friday. Orders placed over the weekend or on holidays will be processed the next business day.

P.O. Boxes: We do not deliver to P.O. boxes. Please provide a physical address at checkout.

Customer Responsibilities : Ensure the delivery address is accurate and complete during checkout. Blue Prism Automotive is not responsible for delays or additional charges caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.

For freight deliveries, customers must be available to accept the shipment during the scheduled delivery window.
Terms and condition
How It Works
By purchasing from Blue Prism Automotive, the buyer agrees to the following terms:
1. Used Parts Disclosure
All engines, Transmissions and automotive components sold are used unless otherwise stated in writing. Normal wear consistent with mileage and prior use should be expected.
2. Compatibility Responsibility
Buyer is responsible for verifying compatibility using VIN, engine code, part number, and vehicle specifications prior to installation. Seller supplies parts based on the information provided at time of order.
3. Mileage Representation
Mileage, when available, is based on supplier records and donor vehicle information. Mileage is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in writing on the final invoice issued to the buyer.
4. Professional Installation Requirement
All engines must be installed by a licensed professional mechanic or certified repair facility. Proof of professional installation is required for any warranty claim.
5. Pre-Installation Inspection
Buyer must inspect the engine prior to installation. Any visible damage, missing components, or discrepancies must be reported before installation. Installation constitutes acceptance of the engine’s condition.
6. External Components & Accessories
Engines are sold as long blocks unless otherwise specified. External components (including but not limited to oil pans, sensors, manifolds, injectors, wiring, accessories, and ancillary parts) may differ from original vehicle configuration and may require swapping from the original engine. These components are not guaranteed unless stated in writing.
7. No Unauthorized Disassembly
The engine must not be dismantled, modified, or internally opened without prior written authorization. Unauthorized teardown, internal disassembly, or modification voids warranty coverage.
8. Warranty Claim Requirements
All warranty claims require:
• Written mechanic diagnosis
• Installation invoice from licensed facility
• Photos and/or video documentation
• Return of engine for inspection if requested
Warranty determination is made only after inspection of the returned engine.
9. Return & Refund Procedure
No refunds will be issued prior to return and inspection of the engine. Refund eligibility, if applicable, will be determined after inspection in accordance with warranty terms.
10. Pre-Dispute Communication Requirement
Buyer agrees to contact Blue Prism Automotive directly and provide written notice of any issue prior to initiating a PayPal dispute, chargeback, or payment reversal. Seller must be given a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter in accordance with the warranty and return procedures.
11. Limitation of Liability
Seller is not responsible for labor costs, diagnostic costs, towing, rental vehicles, or any incidental or consequential damages unless explicitly agreed in writing.
12. Jurisdiction
Any legal disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
